In the market for a great survival knife that stands up to abuse? Looking for the best survival knife on the market? We choose the TOPS Steel Eagle 107C Delta Class survival knife, and here’s why.

Many people who know me and my adventurous nature, ask what kind of survival knife they should buy. There are more knives on the market claiming to be designed for survival than one can count. TOPS Knives has many survival knives designed by professionals who have been through survival situations and know what will be demanded of a knife. They know a knife to be used for survival must be built strong and made from quality steel and produced by the best knife makers available.

I am a big TOPS fan for several reasons, but the main reason is the quality of their knives and other products. The detail and care taken to produce a World class knife at half the price of others who produce blades for Warriors who go in harms’ way. I have several TOPS knives which are designed for street or outdoor survival. My TOPS knives are a source of pride and confidence. To have one of their knives on my belt gives me comfort.

The Steel Eagle 107D was one of the first models TOPS ever made. TOPS experienced great success with the Steel Eagle 107 models so they decided to produce the hunter’s or drop point version.  They also added a more robust curving blade. The saw-back feature is very functional and can fall a small tree inside of one minute. I love the saw-back feature. The 7.63 inch manly warrior blade is large enough to hack with and at the same time can be used to clean medium to large game. The one quarter inch thick blade can perform tasks such as light prying. I can take this knife with a three inch short log and split wood. This is one tough knife. I love the fact this knife is made of 1095 steel as I find this metal to be easy to maintain and sharpen. I am rough on my fixed bladed knives and appreciate the quality which I demand from my survival/combat knives.

Ruger Firearms

The Steel Eagle Delta Class of fixed blade knives are finished with the acid rain process. I think this is pleasing to the eye. To round this out the Steel Eagle 107 Delta is fitted with sandwiched Micarta and a, I love this, tan Kydex sheath. The fact this fixed blade knife only weighs in at a little over one pound at 18.2 ounces make this knife very desirable. When you buy your Steel Eagle 107 Delta, you will be proud to impress your friends and honor you enemies. For these reasons, if you are a warrior who will be following the Dirt-bag trail to find some bad people who need to be sent to their maker….this is your knife.
